W. Katavolos T Chairs ICF 1980s, set of 4
Set of 4 T-Chairs designed by Douglas Kelly, Ross Littell and William Katavolos for Laverne International, Italy 1952 this set is 1980s edition by ICF. The chairs have black leather seating stretched over a tripod structure in chromed steel and matt black lacquered, labeled by the producer. They are in very good condition consistent with use and age. A conservative restoration has been carried out on the leather seating and all the chairs have been reinforced at the ends of the seats to ensure greater resistance to weight, so they remain sturdy and comfortable ready to use! They are present in major international museums (MOMA, Louvre), this chair is one of the great design classics. Avant-garde for its time, today is a timeless icon furniture.
