Afra & Tobia Scarpa Bastiano leather sofà GAVINA 1960s
Iconic and original vintage Bastiano model 3-seater sofa design by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for Gavina, Italy 1960s. This is a rare first edition, produced for the INTERNI architecture studio of Forlì towards the end of the 1950s. Version with wooden slats. Interlocking structure without screws. The sofa has a solid walnut wood frame and very nice natural leather cushions in parchment yellow color. This is the largest version available in these series. It is in very good condition a preserved restoration has been carried out, the leather has been cleaned and treated with professional products, the rubber padding of the cushions has been replaced..
