Sergio Asti Kartell 4003 White Acrylic Pendant Light 1970s
An iconic masterpiece of Space Age lighting design, the Model 4003 pendant lamp was designed by acclaimed Italian architect Sergio Asti for Kartell in the late 1960s. Characterized by its generous proportions and clean, minimalist mushroom-like silhouette, this lamp features a dual-layer acrylic/perspex lampshade in a warm opaline milk white ("lattimo") finish, which diffuse a smooth, ambient glow without harsh glare.
The lamp is equipped with an adjustable steel cable system, allowing easily customized drop heights over dining tables or living room centers. Preserved in excellent original vintage condition, it has been fully inspected, re-wired/revised, and tested for safe operation with standard European wiring (E27 socket, LED compatible). Ready for immediate installation.

Condition: Excellent original vintage condition. Fully revised and tested electrical system. The acrylic shade is complete, healthy, and structurally sound, showing no chips, cracks, or discoloration.
Care & Cleaning: Dust gently using a dry, soft microfiber cloth. Clean the acrylic shade using a specialized plastic cleaner or mild soapy warm water. Never use abrasive sponges, alcohol, or harsh solvents.
