1960s Space Age White & Orange Serving Trolley Bar Cart
A vibrant and iconic example of 1960s Italian Space Age design, this mobile serving trolley perfectly captures the bold geometry and playful color palette of the pop art era. Combining functional minimalism with modern material synthesis, it serves as a standout vintage bar cart and conversation piece for contemporary entertaining.
The structure features an architectural cylindrical-leg frame crafted from white lacquered wood, supporting a lower round storage shelf with a perimeter guard rail and an upper ring that houses a bright pop-orange ABS plastic tray. The removable tray creates a striking visual and tactile contrast against the crisp white frame, while integrated multi-directional rolling casters ensure effortless mobility.
Thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, this vintage piece is offered in ready-to-use condition. Whether deployed as a mobile cocktail bar during gatherings, a side table in a mid-century living room, or a functional serving cart, its optimistic 1960s aesthetic brings timeless Italian charm to any interior.
Excellent vintage condition. The trolley has been professionally cleaned and sanitized. It exhibits minor, natural age-appropriate wear to the lacquered wood and ABS tray consistent with vintage use, preserving its authentic character and structural sound integrity.
How should this lacquered wood and ABS trolley be cleaned and maintained? To keep the trolley in top condition and preserve its original finish:
Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Clean occasionally using a cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a drop of mild, pH-neutral soap. Wipe dry immediately; avoid abrasive pads, ammonia, or harsh chemical solvents.
Wash with warm water and mild dish detergent using a soft sponge. Do not use alcohol-based solutions, acetone, or scouring pads, as they can scratch or cloud the plastic surface. Periodically inspect the bottom casters and clear away dust or fibers to ensure smooth, quiet rolling across all floor types.
